I’m a physician with an engineering background, currently performing research on the interface between clinical application and mathematical challenges in electrocardiography and other applications in cardiac electrophysiology.

Work experience

2016-present (0.4FTE): Senior scientist at Philips Research in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, focusing on cardiac electrophysiology modeling.
2016-present (0.6FTE): Postdoctoral researcher at the CARIM School for Cardiovascular Diseases, part of Maastricht University Medical Center+, Maastricht, the Netherlands, investigating the substrate of cardiac arrhythmias.
2010-2016: MD/PhD student at the BioInformatics and BioMathematics (BMI) group of the Department of Knowledge Engineering, Maastricht University, and the CARIM School for Cardiovascular Diseases, part of Maastricht University Medical Center+.
